Patriots Nosetackle Vince Wilfork Awards Bowling Championship to Belforti Investments
May 16th, 2007

The New England Patriots 2004 #1 Pick and soon to be All-Pro DT Vince Wilfork celebrated NFL draft day with the good people at Pinz in Milford, Mass. on April 29th. The Patriots continued their faith in Vince by drafting his former Miami Hurricane teammates in the 1st and 4th rounds with safety Brandon Meriweather, who mentioned Vince as his main mentor in Meriweather’s 1st interview as a player on May 14th , and defensive tackle Kareem Brown. An unnamed source shared with me that Coach Belichick considers Vince Wilfork to be his favorite Patriots player.

Belforti Investments sponsored a team in the bowling tournament, won 1st place and was awarded signed team bowling jerseys (see photo), which will be used to defend their title at next year’s charity event for diabetes research. Several other Patriot players (Ty Warren, Matt Light, Kevin Faulk and others) were in attendence at the well managed event.

The boys from Milford (Ronnie Pagnini,Dan Belforti) and Portsmouth (Adam Fellman,Jon Murray,Travis Glazier) put forth a Patriotic performance in bowling over the 2nd place winning team by an average of 11 pins (143 team average per string).

Team captain and Belforti Investments promoter Dan Belforti added, “This large margin of victory is consistent with the outperformance of our model portfolio vs. the average mutual fund, hedge fund or stock market index over the past 5,10 or 20 years.”

The model portfolio (Dan Belforti’s own rollover IRA account) achieved an average annual return on investment in excess of 17% from January of 2000 thru April of 2007, continuing his streak of positive portfolio returns in each calendar year.

Belforti explains, “Similar to Vince Wilfork, Tom Brady and the rest of the dynastic New England Patriots, we EXPECT to win every year when we faithfully execute our strategy, which the portfolio has done successfully in each calendar year since inception in 1986.” Present value is well in excess of $500K with deposits made only from 1986 thru 1990 at GE Aerospace (9% of paltry engineering salary) and 1996-1999 at Tucker Anthony (2% of commissions earned).

Belforti advises, “Spend far less than you make, invest your savings well and you will achieve financial independence. It is just common sense, and it is also The Correct Answer.”

Worth the listen. Looks like Belforti went on a diet, then a rant!

Subject: Lets take a break from the bashing and watch this funny clip
This is hysterical!!

Mr. Burns’s et al,
Bad enough I witnessed another heartbreaker from a shitty seat that cost me $2500 (similar upper level in Indy in Jan), but now I learn that Braintree Belcher does a better Patriots sports blog http://www.townienews.com than http://football.belforti.org . And even more twisted and ironic is that he left Boston years ago for New York. But he is correct. Humble pie DOES taste like shit.

This ball was overthrown by best ever 2007 NFL MVP Tom Brady which bounced off the painted turf into the stands (has “Patriots” typed onto ball unlike souveniers). Got to hold it at a stadium adjacent bar bathroom after game. Not quite like hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

Still in hiding after all my gloating of the historic 19-0 preseason prediction. So much for my slogan of reporting the news before it happens. Here’s the embarrassing 5 minute clip from my interview with Sportscenter 5 Mike Lynch the day of his premiere of Patriots All Access back on Sept 7: http://odeo.com/audio/17644843/view

Anyone what to buy these futures at a deep discount? Good thing still have the stock market to make us money…even on the way down. SRS.

Listen in this Friday from noon to 1pm on LeftRightAndCorrect.com for former Patriot Coach Raymond Berry’s comments and predictions. Hall of Fame QB Tom Brady doesn’t have 2 sub par games in a row. And The Best Team in the History of Sports doesn’t lose games….period. And to do it with style, it shall be a BLOWOUT!

Who could have predicted 19-0? Listen to this 2 minute segment from my September 7th interview with Sportscenter 5 Sports Anchor and Patriots All Access host Mike Lynch http://odeo.com/audio/17644843/view

ronbobdan2.JPG Ronnie Pagnini and I are going to Arizona with Bill Belichick’s frat buddies (Jim Caray, Paul Malnati, John McKeown, Brad Monico and John Gaebe) to cover the game for new insights to bring to you in upcoming weeks about this historic team and game.

If Pats do cover the 11.5 to 12.5 point spread, the Belforti Bros will have achieved a 75% winning percentage against the spread in the past 36 games picked on this web site. Presently only 26 wins and 9 losses for 74%. Sorry about zero for two last week but Pats SHOULD have covered!

Please leave your prediction of final score for the big game in the comments section below! Winner gets complimentary tix to a Pats game next season, courtesy of Belforti Investments (the company that presently has less than a 20% asset allocation to equities/stocks for his clients). Timing is everything! Over 15% average annual return since 1/1/2000 in my retirement account…beat that and I’ll invest with you!

Was there ever any doubt about 2007 NFL MVP Tom Brady? Last week setting a playoff record for highest percentage completed. As earlier predicted, Brady should fill up all ten fingers before hanging up his cleats by age 40.

Speaking of percentage completed correctly, this web page predicted 3 of 4 last week (sorry about Indy pick, bad luck for Peyton Manning again on tipped balls turned into interceptions). Still, 26 wins and 7 losses against the spread in last 33 games keeps our winning percentage at 79%. Here are our Championship weekend picks.

Patriots 46 Chargers 10. A week late in predicting the collapse of the average and beat up Charger offense against the best team in sports history.

Packers 38 Giants 17. Great young defense and enough weapons for Favre to go to another Super Bowl against our beloved Pats. Eli Manning still not an Eli-te QB and shows why on Sunday. I was wrong about Brett Favre in my preseason predictions, he’s still playing great.

Pick another winner you say? We selected 23 out of last 29 Picks against the spread. A surprising 79% Correct with a standard deviation of 9% given this binomial distribution in which the StandardDev=sqrt(p*q/n) where p=.50 (probability of correct) and q=.50 (probability of incorrect) and sample size n=29. This confidence interval analysis proves with over 99% certainty (our 79% is more than 3 standard deviations from mean of 50%) that we are indeed better than a coin flip, or your typical sports journalist.

Our Pick of the Week? Indianapolis Colts -9 vs San Diego Chargers - EEEEZZZZZ. Blowout. Manning threw 6 interceptions earlier in season at San Diego, and they STILL almost won! Superior Colts won’t let it happen again. Final Score 56-10.

Others: NY Giants +8 at Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers -8 vs Seattle Seahawks with banged up QB and WR Branch, Jax Jags+14 at The New England Patriots (but best team ever Pats probably win again). I’ll try to bring good luck to our beloved Pats who face a hot Jax Jaguars team this Sat pm. Will the 2007 Pats be able to ensure their greatness for many generations to come? Please add your opinion and picks in comments section below for a chance at free Patriot tickets next season! ps - Did you google “2007 NFL MVP Tom Brady” in quotes yet? You’ll be surprised!
