I’ll leave it in my brother’s words for this week’s entries as he and I agree. Due to lateness of this post, the Tennessee victory will not count toward our official record of course. Our top 2 posted picks of week at 65.1% over past 83 games (54 wins 29 losses) against the spread over last two seasons.
Danny,
Here you go:
Tenn +6.5 at Pitt
Titans blew out Pitt last yr in Tenn 31-14 and outplayed Balt in playoffs last yr before losing. Look for angry Titans who improved themselves offensively in draft to exact some vengence on fat, dumb and happy Steelers who lost a few key defensive players in free agency.
1) Cincy Bengals -2.5 vs Denver Broncos - Denver coach blew it with Cutler who left for Bears and has unhappy Brandon Marshall. Injuries to Kyle Orton (finger) and Chris Simms (leg) should be more of a concern vs Cincy who gets alot of hurt starters back this year. Carson Palmer is big edge here.
2) Dallas Cowboys -4 at TB Bucs - TB let a ton of folks go last year to save money and have new coach plus Byron Leftwich at QB. Dallas let TO go and should be better although receiving core not that great. Dallas talent prevails here and what could be a blowout.
Others - Houston Texans -4 vs NY Jets; NE Pats -10.5 vs Buffalo Bills;
Green Bay -4 vs Chicago Bears; Baltimore -12.5 vs KC Chiefs
Underdog Pick of Week (besides Tennessee) Carolina Panthers +3 vs Philly Eagles
Mark (& Danny !)
