Belforti Bros Picks of the Week Record Year To Date: 22 Wins 9 Losses, picking http://TheCorrectAnswer.com 71% of the time.
Belforti Bros Pick of the Week: Tenn –5.5 vs Jets – Jets won their SuperBowl vs Pats last week but struggled in the second half scoring and defense. Titans have beaten solid team in Indy, GB, Chicago and Jacksonville in recent weeks. Jets have won 4 straight and 6 of 7. Tenn D given up the fewest points in NFL, tied for 2nd with 15 picks and are 3rd in AFC with 28 sacks. They also look to welcome back DE Kyle Vanden Bosh (groin) and CB Nick Harper (knee). Inexpensive price for better team at home with shot at undefeated season.
We also like:
Pats –1 at Miami – QB Matt Cassel won us over finally with that 400 yrd passing/60 yard rushing NFL 1st performance. Not bad for a guy who hasn’t started 10 games since high school. This is a huge game for both teams as they are fighting with Indy and Baltimore for a wildcard berth. Another loss by the Pats to Miami, who already beat them 38-13, might knock them out of playoff hunt. Miami is red hot winning 4 straight and 6 of 8, but barley won their last two against Seattle and Oakland. Pats heated up on offense (Cassel) and defense (Mayo) last week and see that continue in Miami.

Greatest ESPN fantasy game ever played happened tonight during Saints Packers ESPN MNF game. 2nd place team by Dan Dempsey, The International Club Golf Pro vs 1st place team by Dan Belforti, the B Flight Champion (and yes it was a 100% handicapped championship tourney, so was kind of like winning the gold medal at the Special Olympics). The QBs (Brees and Rodgers) playing against each other on this Monday night were drafted by the other team and traded during season to each other as part of trade Kevin Turner for Tony Gonzalez. I took forever at the pro shop that fateful day to pull trigger and believed I needed to add that QB swap to make that 1st league trade ever worthwhile. Belfortuo’s Brees was the difference in the 211-210 final score. By the way, Belfortuo is pronounced Bell 4-2-0.
Multiple lead changes. One of the most exciting games of the year. Crazy coincidences? Or is there order in the chaos? Maybe there is a “God” in this universe of ours, so to speak? We may never know…..but we DO know Dempsey renamed his team correctly to House of Pain.
Sorry DD, but will try to ease your PAIN by carrying our golf team to victory next week with the help of my large handicap and your professional guidance at the http://www.jamaicaproam.com/index.php in Montego Bay. Or not. Maybe the fantasy football gods and golf gods will work together…to make your life even more miserable.

Amazing!!

Bonus Holiday Picks!! (only Ray Musty and Stacia were notified)
Tenn -11 at Detroit - Tenn should come back strong after being beaten bad by Jets, 34-13. Titans still hold two game lead in AFC for home-field advantage and three game lead in divison over Colts. Tenn run offense has been slowed the last three weeks but should explode over Det rush D which is last in the league giving up 166.7 yards per game and is missing two starting defensive ends.
Tenn -7 in first half - Same reasons as above.
Dallas -7 in first half vs Seattle - Dallas in the midst of NFC playoff hunt and cannot afford a loss here. Julius Jones gets start for Seattle vs former team. Cowboys looking for third win in a row. Romo should feast on Hawks taking his #9 passing game vs Seattle #31 pass D.
Romo 9-3 as starter at Texas Stadium and Dallas has won last 2 Turkey Day games by an ave of 29.5 pts. Dallas -12 is not out of the equation as well.
Happy Thanksgiving - Let your bellies be full and your wallets overflow with riches.
ps - Kevin Tempesta also loved Tenn -11 and the over on Philly/Cards game. 2 for 2 Kev! And on his 40th birthday!
