Dan and Mark Record Year To Date: 18 Wins 7 Losses, picking http://TheCorrectAnswer.com 72% of the time. Amazingly consistent with the last half of our 2007 season record of 26-10 for 72%…
Not to go off on a rant, but here I go. The rule of 72 is amazing in nature. Your investment portfolio approximately doubles when you multiply your average yearly return on investment (ROI) by the number of years. If you averaged around 24% per year, your portfolio doubled every 3 years, as my own 401K more than did over the past 12 years. My balance on 1/1/1997 was $51,918. If doubled every 3 years, then in 12 years on 1/1/2009, it should be 16x my starting balance or 830,688. Maybe I’ll lose another $70 K by the end of the year to make it an even 24%….
Try it with your own portfoilo….if it took the entire 12 years for your portfolio to double, then you’re only making about 6% per year and need to diversify your investment strategy/managers and hire a registered independent advisory firm, such as Belforti Investments to manage some of your millions. Even with a 12% ROI, you double in 6 years.
Every 72 years we have had a critical Presidential election during a dramatic time in American history…1792…1864…1936…2008…coincidence? I think not. There are universal patterns to be discovered…..
Discover this! Bob Barr and Wayne Allyn Root are TheCorrectAnswer.com. NOT McCain NOR Obama. And Wayne correctly picked the Dolphins to upset the Bills last week on my show.
Belforti Bros Week 9 Picks:
Denver –3 vs Miami – Broncos were humiliated by Pats 41-7. After a bye week, they are getting healthier with WR Stokley, RB Young and TE Scheffler all expected to play. X-rays on Jay Culter’s hand were negative and it is not affecting his throwing. Denver’s D is struggling giving up 409.8 yards per game. Miami is coming off a big win over Buffalo and we expect a letdown. Cutler and Denver’s #3 passing game will exploit Miami’s 25th pass D.
Patriots 10 Colts 24
Take Indianapolis Colts -5.5 vs New England Patriots. Don’t get me wrong here. There’s no bigger Patriot fan than me, but I can’t see injured Patsies coming out of that new dome with a W to the DESPERATE Colts. Indy claimed Milford’s own Marky DePaulo, who will be hosting Ronnie, Bryn and me for the weekend to check out Celtics Sat pm and Pats Sunday pm. Think Pats beat up secondary will get torched by the inconsistent, but brilliant Manning. Quick defensive line pressures Cassel into making expected rookie mistakes, although I must admit Matt has played VERY well for a QB with so little gametime experience. He’s growing on me and I’ll be rooting for that poor bastard! Three or 4 interceptions? Eight sacks? Colts simply can’t afford to lose this game to rival Pats in front of their fans and will sacrifice life and limb to ensure it.
