This football web site actually made it on a google search for the 1st time last week, good thing we had 4 wins (Pats were -9.5 points) and 2 ties and no losses on our 6 straight picks! Our 2006 season record on all wagered straight picks vs spread is well below our 3 yr 63% average with only 14 wins and 12 losses. Parlays, however, have been “prophet-able” with same won/loss record on 2 team parlays: 14 wins - 12 losses. 3 team parlays: 3 wins 3 losses. 4 team parlays: 1-3. 5+: 0-4.

ROI calculated at exactly 11.1% thru Week 5 with 15 more weeks to go, season annualized at 44.3%. By including expected futures wins thru Week 5, ROI increases to 35.3%. (for example: one can extrapolate that Pats will go over the posted total of 10.5 wins and win division but I was clearly wrong that Tampa will win over 8 games). 2006 ROI annualized with futures gains at 141.3%

On pace for best year ever as Net ROI for 2005 was only 57.9%; 2004 was a mere 47.2%; 2003 was 62.2%. Week 6 “Top 2″ Selections:

Cincinnati Bengals -4.5 at Tampa Bay – Rookie Tampa QB Brad Gradkowski learns that the NFL is much more difficult than college, even though he played well against the lowly Saints defense last week.

Philadelphia Eagles -3 at New Orleans – Philly outclasses over rated Saints who have great skill players on offense but a suspect defense.

Other Picks:

Parlays: Cowboys -13 vs Texans and over 43 - Bledsoe bounce back after poor outing.Jets -1.5 over Dolphins and over 36.5 - Jets also bounce back after rout in Jacksonville.

Upset Pick of the Week: Rookie Matt Leinart and his Arizona Cardinals shocks the world on Monday night by defeating the over-rated and undefeated Chicago Bears.
